VW up! nu a fost singura maşină premiată, noul Porsche 911 a câştigat titlul de World Performance Car of the Year, devansând modele precum Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 şi McLaren MP4-12C.
Pe de altă parte, Mercedes-Benz S250 CDI BlueEfficiency a câştigat premiul World Green Car of the Year. Ford Focus Electric şi Peugeot 3008 Hybrid s-au numărat printre finaliştii acestei categori. Land Rover Range Rover Evoque a câştigat titlul de World Car Design of the Year reuşind să bată modele precum Citroën DS5 sau Volkswagen up!
